The focus of the workshop is Contemporary Sculpture. In the morning lecture I will introduce important artworks of European, American and Asian artists with a host of visual materials and hand-outs. In the following workshop the students will produce three-dimensional artworks, learning how to express themselves in diverse materials and forms. At the end of the course the students will have the chance to show their work in a group exhibition.
The students will achieve practical experience in coping with the three-dimensional space and diverse materials. They will expand their knowledge about important trends in sculpture and will train their sensitive perception.
The class meets on four Saturdays, June 2/9/16/23, from 10.30 to 17.30 (lunch break included).
