In Part A, students learned how news and topics are reported in various media -- print, Internet, radio, TV and documentary film. In this course, Part B, the emphasis will be on the step-by-step process journalists follow to report on a story.
The aim of the course is threefold: 1) allow students to experience the work of a reporter, and prompt you to rethink some of your ideas; 2) learn how to be impartial and offer opposing sides to a story; 3) learn how to communicate more effectively.
